Give Online

The simplest way to give is online at missoulagives.org during the giving window.

  • Support multiple nonprofits in one transaction
  • Use a credit or debit card
  • Give the minimum of $5 or any amount you choose
  • Help nonprofits qualify for prizes and matching funds

Online giving opens on April 20th (soft opening).  Missoula & Bitterroot Gives runs from 5pm on April 30th to 7pm on May 1st.

Giving by Check

You can give by check directly to a nonprofit or through the Missoula Community Foundation if you want to support more that one organization with one check.

 1) Give directly to a nonprofit

  • Mail or hand deliver your check to the nonprofit you want to support
  • Make sure it arrives before 5pm on May 1st
  • Write Missoula Gives in the memo line (or Bitterroot Gives).

2) Give through Missoula Community Foundation

  • Use this option if you want to support multiple nonprofits with one check
  • Fill out the Offline Donation Form.
  • Write your check to Missoula Community Foundation.
  • You will receive a donor receipt from Missoula Community Foundation after Missoula & Bitterroot Gives.

Giving Through a Donor Advised Fund

You can give through your donor advised fund in two ways.

  • Complete the Offline Donation Form - hand deliver or email to aimee@missoulacommunityfoundation.org (this is for donors with DAF's at Missoula Community Foundation)
  • Give online (missoulagives.org) by selecting DAF as your payment method at checkout

To give online through your donor advised fund:

  • Select DAF at checkout
  • Enter your fund information
  • Receive a confirmation email
  • Your gift is released after review and then visible to the nonprofit

Important: If your donor advised fund is held at Missoula Community Foundation, no further steps are required. If your fund is held elsewhere, you are responsible for requesting individual grants to each nonprofit you selected.

Important things to know about all offline gifts:

  • Offline gifts do not count towards all prizes, but will be accounted for in the organization’s totals and the overall Missoula Gives totals.
  • Offline gifts do not incur any fees.
  • Offline gifts can be made completely anonymously through Missoula Community Foundation. Please clearly mark donations as anonymous when submitting them.
